Building with the PCB and plate resting against a desk or table surface is ideal. Be warned that failure to support sockets may cause them to tear away from the substrate and potentially destroy the mounting position.
We cannot guarantee compatibility with every keyboard kit on the market. Even if your case supports it, your plate may not. Issues could arise depending on your specific kit.
